Rigal & internationally acclaimed high-tech entrepreneur, Steven Schuurman; Atlantis Entertainment is a full service media & production company, which creates and produces content through ventures integrating film & television, music, branded entertainment, commercials & digital content.
Nuno is a Grammy nominated, multi-platinum selling guitarist, recording artist, songwriter & producer for Extreme & Rihanna. One of many career highlights for Nuno occurred when Extreme performed for Queen, at Wembley Stadium, at the Freddie Mercury Tribute concert in 1992. Nuno was also invited to perform at the prestigious Nobel Peace Prize concert with Steven Tyler in 2014 as well as the 2015 Grammy Awards side by side with Sir Paul McCartney, Rihanna & Kanye performing the #1 Billboard R&B / Hip Hop song “FourFiveSeconds”. As a producer and songwriter Nuno has produced and performed on hit songs with such greats as Rihanna, Robert Palmer, Perry Ferrel and Janet Jackson as well as currently producing a number of new and exciting, soon to be released emerging pop artists and albums for AE poised for breakout success.
Rene is an award winning film, television & digital content producer. Rigal recently executive produced the Viacom - Nickelodeon film, 'Bixler High Private Eye', which aired on Nickelodeon premiering as the #1 telecast across all TV among its demos. As the former Chief Creative Officer of Virgin Produced (Sir Richard Branson’s Entertainment Media Company) & President of State Street Pictures (Fox) he’s produced and served as a senior production executive on 12 films totaling over $900+ million dollars in worldwide box office as well as overseeing, creating and executive producing award winning commercial campaigns & digital content for global brands. Among the campaign highlights, Rigal oversaw the agency creative & executive produced the Jon Chu ('Crazy Rich Asians') directed award winning and ground-breaking 'Virgin America Safety Video'. Rigal has executive produced global campaigns for such brands as Virgin America, Didi Chuxing, Virgin Mobile, Visa, Coors, Virgin Atlantic, Marriott, Harley Davidson, Virgin Galactic, Sony, Virgin Australia, Universal, Virgin Racing to name a few.
Steven is an internationally acclaimed high-tech entrepreneur and CEO, best known for co-founding 2 of the most successful enterprise open source software companies in history; SpringSource (acquired in 2009 by VMware) and Elastic, currently one of Silicon Valley's most praised tech companies. In October of 2018 Elastic’s Initial Public Offering resulted in one of the most successful tech IPOs in about 20 years on the New York Stock Exchange; trading up over 94% after one day of trading, with a market cap of $4.9 billion. Steven currently also serves as Chairman of the Board of one of Europe’s hottest tech startups, GeoPhy. Steven actively contributes to various non-profit Foundations. He is the founder and Chairman of the FutureNL foundation, and serves on the boards of the Rijksmuseum Fund, Smart Parks Foundation, and LittleBitz Foundation.
